COURSE The course is situated at Wakes Colne, Little Loveney Hall, Upper Green, Wakes Colne, Colchester, Essex CO6 2DF TEMPORARY COURSE LICENSE No: xxxxxx 4. JURISDICTION The meetings will be held under the National Sporting Code and Motocross Standing Regulations of the A.C.U. 2017 edition, these Supplementary Regulations and any further Instructions Issued or Official Announcements made. 5. ELIGIBILITY Riders holding a current ACU or SACU licence and members of the EASSC club. Day licences are available. b. Machines As per the 2017 ACU Handbook. 7. NUMBER OF RIDERS & DRIVERS ALLOWED Races: 3 blocks of 8 riding groups Solo:​40 to a line​ Sidecar: N/A Quads: N/A 8. ENTRIES Entries will be made through the Goracemx website and payment taken on the day. ​ 9. INSURANCE “The insurance cover for this event will be Basic (limit of liability £10M) and Medical Malpractice insurance (limit of liability £5m) is included. There is NO Personal Accident Insurance for Competitors. s 10. TECHNICAL CONTROL​Saturday – 6.00pm – 7.30pm - Sunday – 7.30am – 8.30am Competitors are required to produce their machines to Technical Control. When more than one motorcycle is entered they must be presented to Technical Control at the same time. No competitor will be permitted to practice or race unless the Technical Official had passed clothing and machine. With regard to Rule 20 – Tear Off’s – Organiser’s/Landowner’s – use of tear off’s. Milton Park MX does not restrict the use of these. 11. SOUND CONTROL As per 2017 ACU handbook Standard Regulations section 7, Technical Control number 7. 12. PRACTICE Time it commences and how many laps - start at 9.00am and two laps for practice for each group. 13. RACES The Number of races will be 3 per riding group and classes will be 8 per day 14. PROGRAMME Programme of races on the day – decided on the day, due to prevailing conditions. 15. METHOD OF START The start will be live engine, clutch type, drop down gate. Once a rider has taken his position at the start gate, he cannot change it. In the event of mechanical problem on the line, the start will be delayed for a maximum of 2 minutes, once only per race. The start will not be delayed after the 15 second board is shown. A rider is deemed to be under starters orders having been called to the start line, the starter will hold up a green flag from which moment the riders are under his control. When all the riders are on the start line, the starter will hold up a 15 second board for a full 15 seconds. At the end of the 15 seconds, he will hold up a 5 seconds board and the gate will drop at any time within this 5 second period. No one except RIDERS and OFFICIALS shall be permitted to the area of the starting gate. Riders are allowed to groom the area behind the start gate only, provided no tools are used or outside assistance provided. 16. FLAG SIGNALS Please take note of the following rule change regarding flag signals: Yellow Waved:​Great Danger, prepare to stop, no overtaking. A significant reduction in speed must be seen; therefore jumps should not be attempted. 17. TIMEKEEPING The club will use: electronic timekeeping / lap scoring​ Should the electronic timekeeping system fail the procedure will be: Manual lapscoring. FUEL All fuel used during an event must comply with 2017 ACU Fuel Regulations 19. PADDOCK Please note all machines must be kept on a rubber mat to avoid fuel and oil dropping onto the ground. This is an ACU rule and legal requirement. Silence in the paddock will commence at 11.00pm The riding in the paddock of any electric vehicles, pit bikes, quads or mini bikes is not allowed.
