We now have the ability to embed a briefing video into the sign up process. Riders will be required to watch the video fully before being able to sign up for an event. You can choose how fequently the video is shown eg every time they enter or every 6 months before needing to be refreshed.

Topics for the safety video could be general rules of the site, the meanings of the flags used, how to safely enter/ exit the track, drug policys, litter policy, camping rules or anything else you want to include. We now have a second payment gateway available, rates are cheaper (just 1.65%) they pay out in 2 business days after payment received and best of all should you need to cancel and refund an event their fee is super low (0.65%) so we can refund the riders in full without it costing you the organisers a significant amount. Did you know GoRaceMx has two servers running the site? Both are an exact mirror image of each other so if either one has a problem the other takes over to ensure the site stays live 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. The servers are in 2 different buildings at opposite ends of the country so even a power cut, fire, any other emergency you can think of wont take the site down. Its double the hosting cost but double the security for our clubs to access the data they need when they need it.

On an events racers page you’ll find the ‘Show cancelled entries’ button. Click the button to view all riders who were entered but have since cancelled / been cancelled by you. It gives details of the riders number , name , class entered, class they were moved into (if changed), date they entered, date they cancelled, refund status, refund receipt .

Heres the useful part, if a rider complains they havent had a refund you can check this page to see the refunds status. If it states Refunded you should see an re_***** number in the reciept column. That number is provided to GoRaceMX by Stripe/Ryft after they have processed the refund. If you dont see a re_***** or the rider still cant find the refund you can call Luke on 07958033524 to investigate further.

Historically GoRaceMx has had set times of 8pm for event opening and 6pm for event closing, but the sites been updated to allow clubs / tracks to set any time of day. If you’re a practice track that doens’t print of the sign on forms until 10pm you can now set your events to close at 10pm etc. This can be changed on the event details page for a specific event or you can set it as a default for each template in ‘event default settings’ email me at [email protected] if you have any questions

You can now save the ‘Info Box,’ text as part of your event defaults and it will auto populate on any events you create for the default. This box is for giving extra info about anything you like such as ‘Dogs allowed but must kept on leads’ etc .

This info is shown to riders on the event details page, repeated on the return from payment page/ entry confirmation page and now included in the riders entry confirmation email. So they will certainly get the message!

You’ll now see a simple search function at the top of each events Racers page. Simply add a search in any of the 3 boxes to jump to any results on the page below. If no results are found nothing happens, in this case try a different search term.
